Child & Family Policy Associates is a consulting firm supporting national and local organizations’ efforts to achieve better outcomes for children and families. CFP specializes in translating research into practice, promoting cross-sector collaboration, and identifying and spreading new and promising practices.
Writing, Research, Editing
CFP has extensive research, writing, and editing experience, ranging from publications that educate and persuade national audiences to internal memoranda for key organizational leaders. CFP can author or edit publications on a wide range of issues. CFP can also develop publications from start to finish, including identifying subjects and authors, editing, and overseeing design and production.
Training, Facilitation
CFP can develop and present training sessions for attorneys, judges, social workers, and other advocates and professionals. CFP can also facilitate working groups, coalitions, and other bodies.
Policy and Standards Development
CFP helps organizations and their constituents develop, adopt, disseminate, and get support for policy positions and practice statements relating to children and families. CFP can organize standards development committees, and draft standards of practice.

Additional Capacity
CFP has helped organizations successfully plan for and launch new initiatives, as well as identify gaps and needs and improve current programming to address them. CFP can also assist with other organizational functions (e.g., project management or completion) on a short-term basis to fill in for temporary staff openings.
